ACT-Eng. is a certified professional development program for engineers, established in collaboration with the French Institute of Petroleum (IFP). ACT-Eng. is a first phase certified downstream training and development program targeting young engineers with less than 5 years of experience in all engineering disciplines.

In its first phase, the program consists of 12 modules covered in 12 months. The training delivery consists of one week in class followed by three weeks of On-Job Training (OJT). The one-week classroom component consists of class presentations, mini-project presentations, assessments, and a quiz.

ACT-Eng. program was launched on January 27, 2019, at SPSP in Dammam. Upon successful completion of the ACT-Eng. program, SPSP & IFP provide certification that qualifies the graduates to pursue a Graduate Diploma and M.Sc. in Engineering which is internationally recognized.
